Keeping things ship shape One of our largest regular clients is Hoverspeed Ltd. At regular intervals it’s our job to get on board the ship when she docks in Newhaven and clean every square meter of carpet, as well as all the upholstery.
 
After several Channel crossings in all types of weather, with thousands of passengers – from babies and toddlers to partying adults – it’s not hard to imagine how big a challenge that can be!

A sticky situation A regular domestic customer of ours lives in one of the Regency houses opposite Brighton beach. One evening last year he decided to throw a beach party, then invited his guests back afterwards. Unfortunately, one of the guests didn’t realise there was tar on the bottom of her shoes until she noticed sticky black marks on the cream coloured carpet - all over the house.
 
When our Apollo technicians arrived to see what could be done and provide a quotation, we quickly carried out a test and were able to remove some of the tar marks on the spot. When we returned to do the whole job, we were able to use a combination of special treatments and our truck mounted cleaning system to deep clean the carpets and leave them spotless, much to our client’s great relief.
